Avalon
is a group of local musicians who live, work and play in Mammoth Lakes.
They all moved to Mammoth for the lifestyle and a desire to pursue
their passion for music fully. The band was put together by Joe Gray,
Jr. who hails from Catalina Island and the small town of Avalon. Their
straight ahead approach to jazz has been very successful in a variety
of different venues.
Joe plays piano and sings. He’s
joined by Howie Stern on guitar, Marty Burgenbauch on drums, Brian
Ogawa on bass and Mike “Hurricane” Hoover on harmonica and
percussion. |
