The
Beth Chorneau Fourtet has been a favorite at Mammoth Lakes since
the early '90s. Beth grew up in southern California singing and
learning dozens of jazz standards strongly influenced by her father's
music choice. (Beth's dad is Jubilee co-director, Ken Coulter.)
She has tried rock 'n roll and even did a stint as a country singer.
But, for the past 15 years or so, she's dedicated her talents exclusively
to jazz and has become the premier jazz vocalist in her hometown,
Charlotte, NC.
Her band is made up of husband, Jim Brock
on drums, Gerard Benson on bass, Van Sachs on guitar and Jon Thornton
on trumpet, and Beth Chorneau as leader vocalist. |
