The
Night Bloomers played at the Sacramento Dixieland Jubilee for the
first time in 1975. They were an ad hoc band representing the Society
for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz - they've been back to Sacramento
every year since. And, they've become a regular at Mammoth Lakes as
well. The band's style ranges from Trad to early swing and a special
Sunday morning Gospel Hymn-a-long.
Led by Cornet player, Chet Jaeger, the bands additional members are Dick Doner, trombone;
Jim Richardson, reeds; Les Deutsch, piano; Don Richardson, bass; Lance MacLean, Banjo
and Larry Kostka on percussion.
