Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee
Hot Jazz in the Cool Sierra

Sue Palmer & her Motel Swing Orchestra

Sue Palmer will make her first Mammoth Lakes appearance at the 2004 Jubilee. San Diego's Queen of Boogie Woogie, Sue Palmer, has amazed audiences all over the world with her unique style and phenomenal left hand. She delights in creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the small clubs and cafes of 1932 Paris, Harlem and West Texas. Her orchestra is consistently welcomed by fans wherever they play.

Sue is piano player and leader. The remainder of the band includes April West, trombone; Jonny Viall, Sax and percussion; Deejha Marie, vocals; Steve Wilcox, guitar and Sharon Shufelt, drums.
