The Professors Year 2011 marks the 16th year the professors will play at the Jubilee. They are really "Professors" as they are the instructors of the Mammoth Lakes Jazz Camp that starts the Sunday before the Jubilee. Mammoth is one of the few places, if not the only place, you can see this group as a whole play together, so make sure you watch them perform during this years Jubilee. Leader (and Jazz Camp director) is Bill Dendle on trombone; Corey Gemme plays trumpet; Lee Westenhofer, bass and tuba; Otis Mourning clarinet and saxes; Jason Wanner, piano; Beth Goodfellow, drums; Eddie Erickson banjo and guitar and Shelly Burns, vocals. (personnel in this band is subject to change, according to who is available for faculty during camp time.)
