2007 MLJJ Performance Schedule
They
used to be the Titan Hot Five and were primarily members of the Jack
Daniel's Silver Cornet Band. In 1998, Bob Draga and Jeff Barnhart
joined them and they became the Titan Hot Seven. They hail from Nashville
(but represent Connecticut and Florida, too). This is truly a hot
jazz band that is very versatile. They play everything from ragtime,
Trad, Swing and ballads. Beyond all the music is a great sense of
spontaneous humor. They are definitely "hot".
Leader, piano, vocalist and humorist is Jeff Barnhart. Bob Draga,
clarinet; Flip Oakes, trumpet; Jim Fryer, trombone; Jerry Krahn, guitar
and banjo; Ike Harris, tuba and bass and Danny Coots, drums. |
